VOTE!
If you are not registered to vote, you will need to complete the Pennsylvania Voter Registration Application. In Pennsylvania, you must complete your registration at least 15 days prior to an upcoming election day in order to vote.
2024 DEADLINE:
October 21 is the last day to register before the November 5 election.
To register, you need to meet these requirements:
- Be a citizen of the United States for at least one month before the next election.
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which you want to register for at least 30 days before the next election.
- Be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next election.
After you register, you will receive your Voter Registration Card by mail in two to three weeks. This card will list the name and address of your polling location, so keep it in safe place with your other important documents.
FIRST TIME VOTERS
To successfully cast your ballot as a first time voter in the state of Pennsylvania in the next election, there is important information you need to know to prevent any issues on election day.

- This is the first time you are voting in your life OR

PROOF OF IDENTIFCATION:
If you are considered to be a first time voter, you must must show proof of identification at your polling place the first time you go to vote.
There are multiple approved forms of identification, including photo and non-photo IDs. Review the lists carefully to make sure you have what you need to successfully cast your vote.
